Pro Tip

Red Flag: Holding dollars over time, has proven to be a bad bet.

The Long-term Purchasing Power of the US Dollar is gliding to zero.

In short-term, it may feel like a CRASH!

Americans often say the price of everything is going up.

Might be more accurate to say the purchasing power of the US dollar is going down.

Many economist and politicians want you to see it like this: a weaker dollar means that Americans will find foreign goods to be relatively more expensive than before, but foreign consumers will find U.S. goods less expensive than before. This scenario will tend to increase exports, reduce imports, and make goods and services produced by U.S. firms more attractive to American consumers.

However, the chart makes it clear, the US Dollar is becoming WORTHLESS!
